Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 August 2026. By accessing or using getDiscordBot you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and getDiscordBot ("we", "us", "our"), operated by an individual proprietor based in India. By creating an account or deploying a bot you confirm you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Description of Service

getDiscordBot provides always-on cloud hosting for Python Discord bots. You paste your bot.py, set your Discord token, and the bot runs continuously inside an isolated Docker container. We do not build bots for you; we provide the infrastructure to keep them online. The service is accessed via a web dashboard at getdiscordbot.com.

3. User Obligations

You are solely responsible for the bot code you upload, including compliance with Discord's Developer Terms of Service. You agree not to use the service to:

4. Plans, Billing & Pricing

getDiscordBot offers the following subscription plans, billed in USD on a monthly recurring basis via Razorpay:

Prices are listed in US Dollars and charged to your payment method in USD. If you are billed in another currency by your bank, any exchange rate or conversion fees are your responsibility. Plans auto-renew monthly unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the Billing page; access continues until the end of the current billing cycle.

5. Service Delivery

Access to paid features is granted immediately upon successful payment. There is no physical shipment involved — getDiscordBot is a digital, software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. Upon subscribing, your bot slot is provisioned and your plan limits are activated within minutes.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

Please see our dedicated Refund & Cancellation Policy. In summary: monthly hosting fees are generally non-refundable once a billing cycle has started. Refunds for error charges or prolonged outages attributable to our fault may be approved within 7 days of the charge and processed within 5–7 business days via Razorpay to the original payment method.

7. Uptime & Service Availability

We aim to keep your bots running continuously. However, getDiscordBot is a shared hosting platform and we do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure issues, or Discord API outages may affect availability. We are not liable for losses resulting from bot downtime, Discord gateway disconnects, or platform capacity limits (waitlisting).

8. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the bot code you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to execute your code on our infrastructure solely for the purpose of providing the service. We own all rights to the getDiscordBot platform, dashboard, brand, and infrastructure.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account with or without notice if you breach these Terms, abuse the platform, or pose a risk to other users. Upon termination, your bot data may be deleted after a 14-day grace period. You may also delete your account at any time from Settings.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, getDiscordBot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. We encourage you to contact us first at admin@getdiscordbot.com to resolve any dispute informally before initiating legal proceedings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made.
